Robert E. Band, CPA
Vice President - Chief Financial Officer - Treasurer
Since 2001, Mr. Band has served as Chief Financial Officer responsible for the oversight of Finance and Accounting, Treasury, Technology and Human Resources for Midgard Group. He spearheads all debt and equity financing, optimizes tax and financial reporting structures, preserves the integrity of the company’s financial reporting and internal controls, and oversees operating processes to insure that services remain at peak performance levels and are scalable for new projects.
Mr. Band has nearly 30 years of combined public accounting, SEC and real estate industry experience. He began his career in auditing with CPA firm Kaufman, Rossin & Co., one of the top accounting firms in the southeast United States, and spent more than a decade in senior financial management with such companies as Catalina Lighting (NYSE) and Royce Laboratories (NASDAQ). Mr. Band earned his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Florida.
